Welcome to Balanced Signings. By scheduling an appointment or using this website, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Services

Balanced Signings provides:

• Mobile Notary Services

• Remote Online Notarization (RON)

• Loan Signing Services

Services are provided in accordance with Texas law and applicable notarial regulations.

2. Appointment Requirements

To complete a notarization, clients must:

• Be personally present for mobile notarizations or appear through an approved Remote Online Notarization platform for RON appointments.

• Present valid identification acceptable under Texas law.

• Be willing to sign voluntarily and without coercion.

• Be aware of the transaction and capable of communicating with the notary.

• Provide complete documents that are ready for notarization.

Balanced Signings reserves the right to refuse service whenever a notarization cannot legally be completed.

3. Identification Requirements

Acceptable identification must be current or otherwise permitted under Texas law and include:

• Photograph

• Physical description

• Signature

• Government-issued identifying information

Examples include:

• Texas Driver License

• State Identification Card

• U.S. Passport

• Military Identification (when permitted)

• Other identification authorized by Texas law

Failure to provide satisfactory identification may result in the appointment being canceled in accordance with the Payment Policy.

4. Document Requirements

Clients are responsible for ensuring:

• Documents are complete before the appointment.

• All required pages are present.

• Blank spaces have been completed or appropriately marked.

• Required witnesses are present unless other arrangements have been made.

Balanced Signings does not prepare legal documents or determine whether a document is appropriate for notarization.

5. Loan Signing Services

Loan signing services are limited to facilitating the execution of loan documents.

Balanced Signings does not:

• Explain legal terms

• Interpret loan documents

• Provide legal or financial advice

• Recommend whether documents should be signed

Questions regarding loan documents should be directed to the lender, title company, escrow officer, or attorney.

6. Remote Online Notarization (RON)

RON appointments require:

• Identity verification through the approved online platform.

• A reliable internet connection.

• A compatible computer or mobile device equipped with audio and video capabilities.

• Electronic signatures as required by Texas law.

Failure to successfully complete identity verification or technology requirements may prevent the notarization from being completed.

7. No Legal Advice

Balanced Signings is not a law firm.

The notary is not an attorney licensed to practice law in Texas and may not provide legal advice, explain legal rights, prepare legal documents, or recommend which notarial act should be performed.

8. Right to Refuse Service

Balanced Signings reserves the right to decline or discontinue any appointment when required by law or when the notary determines that the notarization cannot legally proceed, including but not limited to:

• Insufficient identification

• Incomplete documents

• Missing required signers or witnesses

• Suspected fraud or coercion

• Lack of willingness or awareness

• Inability to communicate effectively

• Failure to satisfy Remote Online Notarization requirements

9. Limitation of Liability

Balanced Signings shall not be responsible for delays, losses, or damages resulting from inaccurate information provided by the client, incomplete documentation, technology failures beyond reasonable control, or circumstances preventing a lawful notarization.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, liability arising from services provided shall be limited to the amount paid for the appointment.

10. Privacy

Information collected through appointment requests or communications is used solely to provide requested services, communicate regarding appointments, and comply with applicable recordkeeping requirements.

Balanced Signings does not sell or rent client personal information.

11. Website Information

Information provided on this website is for general informational purposes only.

Service offerings, pricing, business hours, and policies may be updated at any time without prior notice.

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.

Any disputes arising from services provided by Balanced Signings shall be governed by applicable Texas law.
